The City of Reykjavík is accepting applications for city grants for 2024. The deadline for applications is October 27, 2023.

The allocation of grants is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2024.

The grants are intended to support diverse projects by individuals and non-governmental organisations that contribute to constructive activities, quality of life and diversity of human life.

Grants will be awarded for projects in the following fields:

  • Social and Welfare
  • School and Leisure
  • Sports and Youth
  • Human Rights
  • Culture

This year this application is for the first time fully digital through Mínar síður (My pages). The application form is now more accessible, simpler and clearer in every way to applicants.
