• When is the pool closed for practice?

Front crawl classes for groups and individuals are available from Sund og einkaþjálfun hjá Lóló.

There are spectacular beach volleyball courts at Árbæjarlaug Pool and Laugardalslaug Pool, and they are free of charge for swimming guests. You must prebook the courts to use them.

• Book a Court

A few rules apply to the courts

• You pay for accessing the court in the same manner you pay for entering the pool.
• The maximum booking is 2 hours at a time.
• You must cancel the reservation if you will not be using the court.
• You walk through the southern part of the swimming area and through a wooded area to reach the courts.
• You cannot wear shoes in the pool area. If needed, you can get blue plastic covers at the front desk.
• Volleyball players bring their own ball.
• At the end of the game, you must level the court with the provided sand leveling tool.
• To minimize sand in showers and dressing rooms after play, players should rinse off feet their feet using the hydrant at the edge of the pool.
