• The building has 76 assisted living apartments of which 56 are studio apartments and 20 are one-bedroom apartments. Furugerði has 24-hour staff and an emergency call system in each apartment. Residents and others using services at Furugerði 1 can get bathing assistance if needed.
• Home care services are available in the building, providing help with cleaning and laundry.
• The youth center offers varied social activities. Meals are available for purchase every day of the year and coffee every weekday at 3pm.
