Adventure Palace

The Adventure Palace of the Children’s Culture Festival will take place the weekend of April 25–26.

The Adventure Palace has moved between different city neighborhoods over the years, and in 2026 it will be held at the Gerðuberg Cultural Center in Breiðholt. The event promises plenty of fun and excitement, and admission is free.

A diverse program for children and their families will run from 10:30am to 4:30pm both days.

Gerðuberg is easily accessible by public transportation, with buses 3, 4, 12 and 17 stopping nearest to the cultural center. The bus stop is called FB.

Bike and walking paths lead to Gerðuberg from all directions, and bike racks are located at the Gerðuberg entrance.

Parking at Gerðuberg is free.

Fully accessible to all visitors.
