Light Trail
The Winter Lights Festival's Light Trail is the centerpiece of the festival — a walking path decorated with works of light art that starts at Hallgrímskirkja Square, winds down Skólavörðustígur, passes through Lækjartorg and Austurvöllur, and concludes at Reykjavík City Hall, which is illuminated both inside and out.
The Winter Lights Festival showcases 23 light art installations this year, bringing brightness to the short winter days.
Light art and related events will be ongoing every evening during the festival from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
