Data Evaluation Information

The data of LUKR are stored in the national coordinate system ISN93. It is based on the cone warping of Lambert with two contact strips, in 64° 15' and 65° 45'. The evaluation system also offers to transfer the data to the CoR Coordinator, which may slightly extend the time taken to process an evaluation. The current form of data evaluation is based on the delivery of shape-form (.shp) and dxf-form (.dxf).

Usage licenses

A user may copy LUKR digital data to computer memory or computer disks and produce derivative, digital data or products from LUKR data. He may only use the foregoing data himself or his employees, but may not provide third parties with copies of or provide third parties with access to LUKR's digital data and/or secondary digital data/products, unless expressly agreed with Land Information in Environmental and Organisational Policy. However, the User is entitled to the sale and distribution of products in paper form derived from LUKR's digital data and the data fee has been paid by LUKR, under which conditions all such derivative products are subject to LUKR's publishing and copyright rights (“Copyright”) and must also notify LUKR of such publishing activities. The Withdrawal Agreement does not entitle the User to receive new, updated and corrected versions of the LUKR Data Sheets. All data is delivered as is at all times in the LUKR datasets, at the time of delivery. The quality of the data varies according to the source, both in terms of accuracy and reliability. The verification of the accuracy of the individual elements of the data by the competent body is urgently sought, before they are used as a basis for implementation.

Land Information in Environmental Planning is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages that may be caused to the user as a result of the use of LUKR data or derived data.

Basic information from the local authorities of Reykjavik is stored in LUKR and handed over with the permission of the local authorities concerned, who are their owners. This information is governed by the general terms and conditions for LUKR data as well. The OR and Mila Ltd. in these municipalities belong to the Lukr datasets, although these companies are members of LUKR.

Attention should be paid to the fact that LUKR is not in a position to state the accuracy, updating frequency and classification of this basic information. Users are therefore advised to turn more directly to the relevant local authority, if the mentioned aspects are of significant importance for their use and to consult the data there.
