Payment and appeal instructions

Individuals

Details on fees will appear on island.is under My Pages of the owner or custodian.

At the same time, a claim will be created in the online bank.

Tickets are no longer placed under windshield wipers.

 

Payment:

 

a) Through the owner's or custodian's online bank

b) On the Parking Fund's website by entering the car number and date here  

c) As a payment slip in a bank or through online banking (if the payer is different from the owner/custodian), but you will need the claim number from island.is. To get this information, contact the owner/custodian or the Reykjavík City Service Center at 411 1111.

 

Appeal:

 

Owners/custodians: Log in with electronic credentials through the Parking Fund's website here.

Drivers: Contact the owner/custodian to request an appeal or get in touch with the Reykjavík City Service Center at 411 1111.

Companies

 

Generally, the same instructions apply to both companies and individuals.

 

The main difference lies in conducting a review and accessing fee information on island.is:

 

Companies’ authorized signers, see registration instructions on island.is

 

Companies with a large fleet of vehicles (e.g., car rentals) where accounting staff are not authorized signers for the company's ID number can apply for a company account by sending an email to info@reykjavik.is
