Information about Reykjavík City finances, which are divided into the Municipal Fund and Real Estate Fund.

Municipal Fund

The Municipal Fund covers the City's regular activities that primarily relate to statutory projects and are partly or wholly financed from tax revenues.

Real Estate Fund

The Real Estate Fund manages the City's assets and finances all construction projects on its behalf. Its operation is based on income from the internal lease of real estate, streets, and equipment, the sale of building rights, the collection of road construction fees, income under service contracts, and the external lease of real estate and land.

The underlying dataset for the City's financial data is published in the City's Data Portal.
