Einar Þorsteinsson, the Mayor, invites city residents to an open discussion in the districts over the coming weeks. The next two meetings will be held on Saturday, February 10, in Árbær at 11am and in Háaleiti and Bústaðir at 2pm.

The first meetings were successfully held in Grafarvogur and Breiðholt on January 27.

  • The meeting in Árbær will be held at Árbæjarskóli on Saturday, February 10, at 11am.
  • The meeting in Háaleiti and Bústaðir will be held at Réttarholtsskóli on Saturday, February 10, at 2pm.

Topics of discussion at the meeting include:

  • What needs to change in your district?
  • What has been done well?
  • What do you think the Mayor should do?

The meetings last about an hour and coffee and snacks will be served. Children are especially welcome and there will be a kids' corner at each location.

"I think it's important to go into the districts and hear what issues matter to the residents, as our job at Reykjavík City is to serve them as best we can. Looking forward to seeing many of you!” says Einar Þorsteinsson, the Mayor.

Language assistance will be offered to those who request it.

Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussions.

Everyone is welcome.
