Guests flocked to city youth centers on youth center day yesterday, October 16. Youth center day is part of youth center and youth house week organized by SAMFÉS from October 14 to 18.
Many centers offered extra attendance points for young people who brought parents to their youth center and introduced them to activities. Programs varied, including special events for the day and regular youth center activities. A special youth center day has been celebrated in the capital area since 2005. This year's slogan is "Togetherness is one of the best forms of prevention."
