Local government election 

There are more liberal rules when voting for local governments than in parliamentary and presidential elections. Those who want to vote in local elections must be at least 18 years old, but it is alright to have citizenship from another country if you are domiciled in Iceland. Those with non-Nordic citizenship must have been domiciled for three consecutive years before the election
