Christmas City Event Fund
Preparation for the Christmas season has begun. Applications for the Christmas City event fund are now open.
Those planning events in December can apply for support up to 400,000 krónur.
The project aims to enhance daily life and support businesses, shops, restaurants and other services in the area. The events enliven the city center for residents and visitors to enjoy during Advent.
Main conditions for support:
- The project must take place in the city center
- The project should bring life to the city and highlight the diversity of the city center
- The project will run from December 1 to 23.
- It should be enjoyable for many, cater to all ages, and free of charge for participants
Support is not given for various Christmas markets or marketing of individual businesses.
The application deadline is November 15, 2023.
