More than 100,000 cyclists on Suðurlandsbraut this year

The bike counter on Suðurlandsbraut logged its 100,000th cyclist over the weekend, reaching this milestone six days earlier than last year. The counter is located across from Nordica and is easily visible to passersby. It was the first bike counter installed in Reykjavík.

The counter first surpassed the 100,000-cyclist mark in 2012, hitting that mark in mid-November, compared to Oct. 2 this year.
