SFS Resource Lending Library

Browse, reserve, and try learning and teaching resources

Reykjavík City Department of Education and Youth staff can borrow a wide range of learning and teaching resources from the Resource Lending Library free of charge for up to three weeks.

Operating on sharing-economy principles, the service enables workplaces to share equipment and teaching resources, test new solutions, and evaluate their usefulness before purchasing them. This helps the Resource Lending Library maximize funds, reduce waste, and expand opportunities for innovation in school and recreational activities.

Staff at all SFS workplaces can log in, reserve resources, and pick them up at the Resource Lending Library. When registering, use your Reykjavík City email address and enter your workplace name instead of a street address.

University of Iceland School of Education staff and students can also access the Resource Lending Library through the Mixtúra liaison.
