Grants for soundproof glass have been suspended by City Council for economic reasons for the next four years, or until January 1, 2027. These grants are not part of the municipalities' legal obligations and therefore will be suspended until City Council decides otherwise.
If your dwelling is situated near a busy road where noise levels from traffic reach at least 65 dB(A) outside your window or wall, you're eligible for a noise control grant.
The grant amount is determined by how much noise is measured outside the window or wall of the dwelling, and by how many square meters of window glass needed to be replaced. Typically, the grant covers 50 – 70% of the improvement costs.
