This fee schedule is set according to the resolution on road construction fees in Reykjavík, No. 725/2007 with subsequent amendments, cf. Act No. 153/2006
Act on Road Construction Fees (IS)
A road construction fee is collected from all urban plots in Reykjavík City and/or structures on these plots. The fee is used for road construction and maintenance according to Act No 153/2006 on Road Construction Fees.
Resolution No 725/2007, as amended, applied to the road construction fee in Reykjavík. The amount of the road construction fee is updated monthly in accordance with the third paragraph of Article 6 of the Resolution.
The amount of the additional road construction fee is the same as the road construction fee.
Connection and sewerage fees
Sewerage, water, electricity and heating connection fees are collected by Veitur Utilities in accordance with their price list.
