Teaching arrangement

When a student enrolls in the school orchestra, they receive 50 minutes of private instruction from their music teacher per week. The instruction usually takes place at the child's primary school.

After the first two years, instruction increases to 60 minutes per week. Students start in A-band but move up to B-band after the first two years.

The general rule is that students are in A-band from grades 3-5, B-band in grades 6-7, and C-band from grades 8-10.
