ITR Card User Terms and Conditions

The ITR card user terms and conditions apply to swimming cards in the swimming pools in Reykjavík and cards in the Family and House Zoo.

With the purchase and use of swimming cards in the swimming pools in Reykjavík and cards in the Family and House Zoo of Reykjavík City ID. 530269-7609, the Cardholder agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

2.

Definitions

The following terms have this meaning as they occur in these Terms and Conditions:

  • Functional spots are the swimming pools in, along with Family and House Zoo.
  • The swimming pools in are:
    • Aarhus Pool
    • Broadhole Pool
    • Graveyard Pool
    • Kléberg Pool
    • Laugardalslaug
    • Sundhöll Reykjavíkur
    • Vesturbæjarlaug
  • An

    adult is a person who is 18 years of age and older.

  • Swap Card – a swimming card with credit to a certain number of trips.
  • Period Card – a card issued with the name and social security number of an individual and for the exclusive use of that individual only.
  • ITR maps provide access to swimming pools in Reykjavík and Family and House Zoo.
  • IDR cards are self-checkout cards that must be scanned at the pool access gate and shown in Family and House Zoo delivery.
  • ITR cards are multi-purpose and can be refilled.
  • Access identifiers are cards, bracelets, or other electronic identifiers that give individuals access through a self-billing gateway.

User RulesShift Card

  • Swimming cards/replacement cards
    can be purchased with credit on a certain number of trips.
  • More than one person can use a replacement card.
  • Swap card is not valid for groups.
  • The validity of replacement cards is 48 months from the date of purchase.

Period

Cards

  • Are cards issued for a specific person and are for that person's private use.
  • Are distinct for children, adults, the elderly, and other defined groups.
  • The card provides unlimited travel over a predefined period of time.
  • The card can be used in self-service gates once a day, but if the owner chooses to use the card again on the same day, they will need to turn to the owner for delivery.
  • A photo is taken by the owner of a period card for identification even if he is over 18 years old.
  • If a cardholder doesn't allow photography, they'll need to turn to checkout on each arrival and show an ID.

Family

Card

  • Valid for two adults and four children. Additional people may be added for a fee.
  • Only registered cardholders can use the card. Cardholders cannot be replaced on the Effective Date.
  • Provides access during standard service hours and to events that are on the park's roads.
  • When using the card, you may request the presentation of an ID.
  • A photo is taken of family card holders for identification even if they are over 18 years old.
  • If a cardholder doesn't allow photography, they'll need to turn to checkout on each arrival and show an ID.

These

rules apply to all issued IDR cards on behalf of the CoR.

4.

Fees

The City of Reykjavik publishes an annual fee schedule for the City of Reykjavik's locations in. Each year's tariffs are available on the CoR's website and hang in places of business.

5.

Returns policy

Swap cards cannot be switched to period cards.

It is not possible to deposit an ITC card temporarily.

Transferring a period card to another social security number is not available.

6.

Defaults, Card Blocking

If a cardholder is found to be in violation of user rules under these terms, the ITC has the authority to revoke and suspend a card without notice .

7.

Lost Cards

The cardholder can report a lost ITR card to the nearest place of employment or send a mail to swimming card@reykjavik.is and have their credit transferred to a new account ID.

A new Facility ID shall be paid according to the Fee Schedule from time to time.

The cardholder is responsible for all use of the card until its closure.

If a person finds an IDR card, they are not allowed to use it.

It is recommended to report the IDR meeting of the card to swimming card@reykjavik.is or return it to the nearest place of business.

8.

Abuse of maps

If a person is disclosed by providing a period card/family card that is registered with another person, ITR is authorized to close the card in question.

9.

Privacy

The processing and processing of personal data by the City of Reykjavik is governed by the Data Protection Act and the Personal Data Processing Act No. 90/2018 - Interconnection rates By accepting these terms and conditions, the cardholder authorises the City of Reykjavik to process the data generated by the use of ITR cards.

The processing of personal data in connection with the use of ITC cards is carried out by the Sports and Recreation Department. The main purpose of the processing of personal data is to provide the services requested by the cardholder and provided through the presentation of an ITR card. The processing is based on the informed consent of the registered user.

Failure to provide the user with the requested personal data may result in the inability to accept the application for the issuance of an ITC card. In this case, the user has the right to withdraw consent at any time. The city of Reykjavik uses the name, photo, social security number and cardholder's email address to identify them in the gateways of service centres. This personal data is also processed for the purpose of opening and reissuing lost cards, if applicable, as well as for performing transfers of user credits between identities, if requested. The City of Reykjavik may use the cardholder's contact information to alert them in the event of disruptions in services.

The City of Reykjavik will also use users' personal data in order to perform statistical analyses in order to improve the service provided to users and analyse its use, such as to see how many visitors there are in each service area at any given time.

In cases where the CoR staff requests the issuance of an IDR card, personal data is communicated from the immediate supervisor to the CoR Office of Sports and Recreation so that an IDR card can be issued in accordance with the CoR Rules on Preferential Careers.

At any time, Users may request information about the Personal Data retained in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act.

10.

Legislation and the Defence Assembly

These terms and conditions are governed by Icelandic law, as well as any case of use unless specifically agreed otherwise.

If a case arises from a breach of these terms and conditions, it may be pursued before the Court of First Instance.
