Individual market sales
Individual market sales involves a permit for a 5 square meter area.
Temporary sale permits are available in designated market areas.
Period
Sales permits are valid from the first of each month from March 1 to November 30.
Sales are allowed from 9am to 9pm.
Apply for a minimum of two months, except for November and rent must be paid before signing the contract.
Send extension requests by the 15th of each month to torgsala@reykjavik.is
Market areas
Bernhöftstorfa, Lækjartorg, Ingólfstorg and Frakkland (garden at the top of Frakkastígur). Permit holders can move between these locations.
Permit holders must vacate if events are scheduled in these areas.
