Together Against Violence
Together Against Violence is a collaborative project addressing domestic abuse in the capital area. Partners include Reykjavík City, the police, The Women's Shelter, primary care, and the district commissioner. The goal is to ensure safety in the home, improve services for victims and perpetrators, and protect children.

Education
You can request education about the Together Against Violence project. The education is tailored to the needs of those who request it. Education can be general or focus on manifestations of violence in specific groups.

Everyone has the right to assistance, and violence is never the fault of the victim.
A range of support options is available if you are experiencing or have experienced abuse, or know someone in that situation.
You can always call 112, and you can also get help from various grassroots organizations or social services.
Statistics
The Reykjavík Metropolitan Police and the City of Reykjavík compile statistics on domestic abuse calls/reports in Reykjavík. The information is published monthly and dates back to 2015 when the project Together Against Violence began.
