West Center of Reykjavík City Service Center - bonfire at Ægisíða
Reykjavík Public Health has prepared an operating permit proposal for the West Center, Reykjavík City's service center, for a Twelfth Night bonfire at a site near Ægissíða. This is for a new temporary activity. The proposal recommends that the activity be subject to Reykjavík Public Health Committee's general operating conditions for polluting activities, coordinated permit conditions for bonfires, and guidelines for New Year's Eve bonfires. The proposed validity period is January 6, 2024, from 6pm to 10pm. Documents related to the proposal are accessible on the Reykjavík Public Health website https://reykjavik.is/public-announcement-of-proposed-operating-permits from November 7 to December 6, 2023. During this period, everyone is welcome to submit comments and suggestions regarding the proposal.
