Operating permit proposal - Stjörnuegg hf., Saltvík Kjalarnes
Reykjavík Public Health has processed an operating permit proposal for Stjörnuegg hf. (ID 630191-1579) in Saltvík, Kjalarnes, site C (L125744, section 30). The operation involves breeding laying birds for egg production, up to 23,500 birds. The proposal recommends that the business operation should adhere to the general operating permit conditions of the Reykjavík Public Health Committee for polluting activities, along with coordinated operating permit conditions for poultry and pig farms. The proposed validity period is 12 years.
