Last week, one staff member of Hitt húsið was diagnosed with Covid-19 infection, which means that some 35 other staff members have been placed under quarantine by the Civil Defence Tracing Team, until 2 September. Hitt húsið will remain closed until then.
Hitt húsið is a youth centre focussing on peer education and recreation, and runs a special programme for disabled youngsters. It is located on Rafstöðvarvegur 7-9 in Elliðaárdal.
During the quarantine, staff members can be contacted by phone or through Hitt húsið Facebook account. Those who will be subjected to disruption in services have already been informed.
