Building a city for people — mayor's open forum on housing
At the mayor's upcoming open forum on March 20, the central conversation will focus on how to build a city for people — one where everyone has access to safe housing, a good quality of life, and real choices, regardless of their background or financial means.
The mayor's open forum on housing will be held at Reykjavík City Hall on Friday, March 20, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and a light breakfast will be provided.
The forum will review the current state of the housing market, development activity across the city's neighborhoods, and new directions in planning. The goal is clear: to ensure quality in the built environment, increase housing supply and build a human-centered, sustainable city for the future.
