Who wants to take over Kolaportið?

Reykjavík City is looking for a capable and forward-thinking operator to take over Kolaportið and run operations at this unique gathering place in the city center. Strong emphasis is placed on carefully preserving daily life and culture. Kolaportið should be not just a market, but a center for social connections and a vibrant urban community.

This is stated in Reykjavík City's announcement: Kolaportið: Tenant and operator of public market at Tryggvagata 19.  

The deadline to submit bids is 10am on July 8, and interested parties are encouraged to allow plenty of time since they must submit a detailed report and data with their bid. Reykjavík City plans to enter into a lease and operating agreement with the prospective operator, and draft contracts are also available on the tender website. Interested parties are encouraged to submit inquiries promptly through Reykjavík City's tender website, where all responses are published.
