Reykjavík City District Fund: Applications now open.
Applications for the Reykjavík City District Fund open Monday, Sept. 15, and the application deadline is Oct. 15.
The District Fund aims to strengthen community bonds, solidarity and cooperation among residents, enhance neighborhood beautification, improve safety and enrich daily life in various ways based on residents' needs.
The fund supports individuals and groups who want to contribute to their community through neighborhood-related projects and/or events. Priority is given to projects that benefit the widest range of neighborhood residents, encourage participation from diverse groups in community activities, or focus on beautification and development of areas used by a significant portion of residents.
