My Reykjavík promotes vibrant community life and culture, supporting local businesses including shops, restaurants, and other services in the city center during advent.

The center of Reykjavík offers the highest concentration of restaurants, shops, culture, and other services in Iceland. Many exciting activities are planned for the project during Advent.

Summer City Event Fund


Summer City is now accepting grant applications for projects that help enliven the city center and encourage residents and visitors alike to explore downtown and enjoy all it has to offer.

Grants ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 kr. will be awarded.
The application deadline is May 04, 2026.
