The role of the CoR's Prevention Fund is to promote prevention and to boost social wealth in the neighbourhoods of the CoR. Applications to the Prevention Fund will be made at a later date than has been the case in the past year. The rules and organization of the Fund should be reviewed and a new arrangement should be decided within a reasonable time.

Objective of the project

The aim of the fund is to strengthen prevention initiatives in line with the CoR's prevention strategy and to provide opportunities for initiative and innovation for individuals, civil society organisations, companies and organisations.

The prevention strategy focuses, inter alia, on improving mental health, the well-being and self-image of children and adolescents and the prevention of risky behaviour. The role of the Fund is also to work for the promotion of social wealth and to promote any kind of progress in the city's neighbourhoods.

Process of application

  • All grant applications that run across the city's neighborhoods are submitted to the Coordination on Prevention and Welfare for review and approval.
  • Applications for projects in individual neighbourhoods will be submitted to the neighbourhood council for approval.
  • All candidates will receive a written response when the award results are available.

Article type form

Article should be submitted when the project in question is fully completed in accordance with the grant agreement between the grantee and the CoR.
