The main goal of the Urban Design Policy is to create a people-focused and sustainable city that strengthens community, reflects our cultural heritage, and provides diverse opportunities for all residents.

The policy calls for clearer positions on future development projects and provides a framework for decision-making and implementation that supports planning, environmental goals, and resident welfare.
