Neighbourhood introduction to local planning

At the Planning Officer's administrative meeting on April 18, 2023, a proposal was submitted to change the land-use plan for the Njálsgata area, plot 1.190.2, regarding lot 38 on Njálsgata. The proposed change involves demolishing the existing garage in the backyard and building a one-and-a-half-story single-family home with a roof terrace facing Öskustígur, according to the blueprint from Alark, date. March 10, 2023.

According to the second paragraph of Article 44 of Act No. 123/2010, stakeholders can comment on the proposal:

Property owners at Njálsgata 36, 40, and 40b and Bergþórugata 11, 15, 15a, and 13.

Tenants of properties on the above-mentioned lots are also considered stakeholders. Property owners should inform tenants about the proposal.

The presentation begins May 16, 2023. Submit comments on the proposal in writing to the Planning Officer or to skipulag@reykjavik.is by June 19, 2023.

After the announcement period, documents are kept for 30 years before transfer to the National Archives of Iceland under Act No. 77/2014 on Public Archives.
