Reykjavík City Centre Fund is now open for applications intended for projects or events that will take place within the city centre before end of April 2023. Application deadline is 22 November.

The City Centre Fund aims to collaborate with NGOs, companies and individuals that encourage diversity, initiative, innovation and research, focussing on City Centre affairs.

The City Centre Fund will support events and projects which will highlight diversity and encourage both residents and visitors to come and explore the city centre and enjoy all it has to offer.

In 2022, special emphasis will be placed on trade and services, music and other cultural events and projects, as well as general promotion of the city centre.  Projects on research, development and innovation that aim to strengthen the city centre will also be taken into consideration as well as environmentally friendly projects.

Constructions on housing, both indoors and outdoors, will not be funded, nor any promotions of individual operations.
