Two polling station changes in Breiðholt

Two polling station changes are being made in Breiðholt for the city council elections on May 16. The Austurberg Sports Center will be replaced by FB (the Breiðholt Comprehensive Secondary School), and Ölduselsskóli will be replaced by Seljaskóli.

The city council elections will be held on Saturday, May 16, with polling stations open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be 24 polling stations in total, all unchanged from the last elections except for the two noted above.

Early voting began Friday, April 17, and is being held at the District Commissioner of Greater Reykjavík's office at Hlíðasmári 1 in Kópavogur.

If you are not sure if or where you are on the voter register, you can look up ID numbers on the website of Registers Iceland. At reykjavik.is/kosningar, residents can look up polling stations by address, check walking and bus routes, and find additional information.
