Street market at Reykjavík Art Museum Hafnarhús
Reykjavík Art Museum will throw open the doors of Hafnarhús and transform it into a vibrant street market on Aug. 15 and 16.
A true market atmosphere will take over the heart of the city as more than 40 eclectic stalls fill Hafnarhús Museum with vintage goods, antiques, crafts, design, books, vinyl records, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Families are especially encouraged to come along. A dedicated tombola raffle and sales area will be set up for children who want to bring their own items to raffle off and try their hand at selling. No registration is required for the tombola area — just show up and join in.
Organized in partnership with Visteyri, the street market is for anyone who enjoys a creative atmosphere, the circular economy, and discovering unexpected finds in a fun setting.
Vendors include Visteyri, NOWHERE, Wabi Sabi, Munir, Góði hirðirinn, Mino, Björkin Vintage, and many more!
The market will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on the weekend of Aug. 15-16 at Reykjavík Art Museum — Hafnarhús Museum at Tryggvagata 17.
Everyone is welcome!
