Nominations for Reykjavík City Children's Book Awards 2026
Reykjavík City announced the 2026 Children's Book Awards nominations today.
Skúli Þór Helgason, chair of the culture and sports council, announced the nominations, with a total of five books nominated in three categories. Mengi on Óðinsgata hosted the announcement ceremony.

The Reykjavík City Children's Book Awards will be awarded at a formal ceremony at Höfði on Apr. 22, and Mayor Heiða Björg Hilmisdóttir will present the awards.
