Reykjavík City's Department of Service & Innovation has been nominated for the Ský 2025 IT Awards in the Digital Public Services category. These awards recognize solutions each year that stand out for digital innovation and simplifying public services.

The nomination reflects the department's strong and ongoing digital transformation, which focuses on user-centered civic design and data-driven solutions. In 2025, the department developed and implemented numerous digital solutions that make it easier for residents to access services while helping the City administration work more efficiently.

The IT Awards aim to spotlight exemplary information technology solutions across Iceland. This nomination acknowledges Reykjavík City's commitment to enhancing services and increasing their accessibility for residents. The awards will be presented at UTmessan (IT Fair) at Harpa on Friday, Feb. 6.
