The 2025 Wellbeing Economy Forum in Reykjavík will be held at Harpa on May 8 and 9.

Now in its third year, the Wellbeing Economy Forum provides an important platform for dialogue and collaboration among politicians, business leaders, academics and experts from around the world who work to prioritize public wellbeing and quality of life in the broadest sense.

The emphasis is on finding new approaches that move beyond traditional methods based solely on economic measurements. Instead, wellbeing and quality of life are measured using multiple social and environmental factors alongside economic ones.

Key topics at the Wellbeing Economy Forum include aligning budgets with wellbeing goals, developing wellbeing indicators and how wellbeing economies can support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The Wellbeing Economy Forum takes place at Harpa, Reykjavík's concert hall and conference center. The forum is organized by the Office of the Director of Health, the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Health, Reykjavík City and several international organizations.

In addition to lectures and discussions, various engaging side events related to wellbeing will be available for forum participants.

The first Wellbeing Economy Forum in Reykjavík was held in 2023.
