Reykjavík Jazz Festival 2025 is underway.
The Reykjavík Jazz Festival starts tomorrow and runs through Aug. 31. This year's festival will feature a diverse program.
Held annually since 1990
The Reykjavík Jazz Festival has taken place annually since 1990 and is the country's second-oldest music festival. The festival showcases the best of Iceland's jazz music and is a high point of the country's jazz scene—an annual celebration for local jazz musicians.
Its primary goal is to support and promote jazz music while providing musicians and jazz fans with an exemplary venue where they can perform and enjoy the finest Icelandic and international jazz music.
In addition, the festival supports Icelandic jazz musicians by connecting them with festivals in other countries through the European Jazz Network, a collaborative platform for European jazz professionals of which the Reykjavík Jazz Festival has been a member in recent years.
