Reykjavík City Hall shows solidarity with Palestinian people
The City Executive Council has approved flying the Palestinian flag at full staff at Reykjavík City Hall to show solidarity with the Palestinian people
At this morning's meeting, the City Executive Council announced its decision to fly the Palestinian flag at full staff alongside the Ukrainian flag at Reykjavík City Hall.
The Presidium was also assigned to review the rules for flag use at Reykjavík City administrative buildings. The review has two goals: first, to set clear guidelines for how long flags should fly at administrative buildings after a decision is made to display them. Second, to enable elected officials to express solidarity with nations and residents when appropriate.
