Recall of Yerba Mate tea from Piporé

Istanbul Market, working with Reykjavík Public Health, has stopped selling and recalled Yerba Mate tea from Piporé from consumers.

Reason for recall

During official inspection, the pesticide anthraquinone was found above allowable limits as defined in EU Regulation No. 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in food and feed.
