Photos of Iceland's swimming pools in the city center

A photography exhibit by Bragi Þór Jósefsson opened in Austurstræti.

A photography exhibit by Bragi Þór Jósefsson opened last week in downtown Reykjavík.

The works are from the book "Synt um allt land - Swim Around Iceland," published in 2024, which contains aerial photographs of outdoor swimming pools across the country, shot with drones from directly overhead. The photographs are displayed outdoors on special stands located on Austurstræti, giving art lovers a chance to enjoy the artwork in a public setting.

Visitors can view a diverse range of pools, including Vesturbæjarlaug, Laugardalslaug, Sundhöll Reykjavíkur and other swimming facilities from around the country.
