People first – a public forum on digital rights to mark International Digital Rights Days

Digital Council

To mark International Digital Rights Days, Reykjavík City's Digital Council is hosting a public forum called "People first – digital rights in modern society."

The event will spotlight the importance of digital security, accessibility, and human rights in our rapidly changing digital society.

The event will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. in Hljóðberg at Hannesarholt.

Experts will discuss how to protect people's rights in digital spaces, how to handle data securely, and why digital accessibility and privacy are essential in public services. The event is open to everyone, and the building is fully accessible. Refreshments will be provided.
