Nominations for Reykjavík City Children's Book Awards 2025
Today, the nominations for the Reykjavík City Children's Book Awards were announced at Iðnó.
Skúli Þór Helgason, chair of the culture and sports council, announced the nominations, with a total of five books nominated in three categories.
The nominations are:

The judging panel included Sigrún Margrét Guðmundsdóttir, appointed by Reykjavík UNESCO City of Literature, Arngrímur Vídalín, appointed by the Writers' Union of Iceland, and Bergrún Adda Pálsdóttir, appointed by the Association of Icelandic Illustrators.
The Reykjavík City Children's Book Awards will be awarded at a formal ceremony at Höfði on April 23, and Mayor Heiða Björg Hilmisdóttir will present the awards.
