Reykjavík City's My Pages are continuously evolving with the goal of providing solutions that simplify life for residents and businesses. Individuals and company signatories can now securely authorize others to view and manage matters on My Pages through the island.is authorization platform.

Authorization solution that enhances service efficiency  

The authorization, available through island.is, provides access to all information and services offered on My Pages. Individuals can now share access with family members or trusted parties, while company signatories can grant staff access to handle business matters. This promotes improved collaboration and more efficient city services, with Reykjavík City having the most extensive implementation of the authorization solution nationwide.

Reykjavík becomes first municipality to issue electronic ID 

Electronic ID is required to log in to My Pages. We're pleased to announce that Reykjavík City now offers electronic ID services at the Service Center located at Borgartún 12-14 to accommodate the diverse needs of our residents. Reykjavík City is the first municipality to offer this service, guided by the mission of enhancing digital accessibility for everyone.

What are My Pages? 

My Pages serves as Reykjavík's service portal, hosting a wide range of services for residents and businesses. The goal is to provide better access to public services, reduce waste, decrease car trips and save time. Last year, all the city's electronic applications were successfully migrated to My Pages. This marked a significant milestone that simplified services and substantially improved accessibility. As a result, older legacy systems could be retired.

My Pages is continuously evolving with regular updates that enhance service quality and accessibility. We deeply value our ability to help residents and businesses save time and simplify their lives through digital solutions.
