Three land-use plans for CityLine are now open for public review, covering Nauthólsvegur, Laugavegur from Hallarmúli to Hlemmur, and Ártúnshöfði 2 (part of Stórhöfði). These proposals are part of CityLine's first phase, which runs from Hamraborg to Ártúnshöfði. The purpose is to integrate CityLine into the land-use plan in accordance with preliminary design, the municipal plan framework, and environmental assessment.

The goal is to integrate CityLine's infrastructure into public spaces while maintaining harmony with the surrounding environment. The entire route spans 14.5 kilometers and includes the construction of 18.2 kilometers of biking paths and 9.1 kilometers of walking paths.

The CityLine land-use plan in Reykjavík is divided into several sections as the route passes through diverse areas, neighborhoods and planning zones. The comprehensive vision is presented in the Reykjavík municipal plan framework, with overall impacts outlined in the environmental assessment. A public informational meeting was held in January, with a recording available on the Reykjavík City website.
