Fall break preschool registration begins

Families planning to use the City's preschool services during primary school fall break on Oct. 24, 27 and 28 must register their children separately. Registration opened Sept. 24 and the deadline is Oct. 3.

To register, visit minarsidur.reykjavik.is.

Good to know:

  • Care is optional on these days, and preschool fees are waived if applicable.
  • Families who require care on these specific days must register separately here, and a fee will be charged for this service.
  • Unregistered children are assumed to be on holiday.
  • You can register your child for care all days of the week or just certain days.
  • Payment is required for registered days, whether the child attends or not.
  • Registration is binding and only valid for registered days.
