Building rights for four single-family home lots in Kjalarnes were advertised on the Reykjavík City website this morning, and interested parties have until Nov. 21 to respond.
The lots are located at Helgugrund and Búagrund in the Grundarhverfi neighborhood. The lots range in size from 700 to 800 square meters, with a Floor Area Ratio of 0.35, which determines the maximum permitted building size on each lot. To illustrate the permitted building size, the lot at Helgugrund 9 is approximately 718 square meters, allowing for a single-family home of up to 251 square meters.
The deadline for submissions is noon on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. Bids must be submitted through the tender portal, and interested bidders are encouraged to set up their portal access well in advance of the deadline. Both legal entities and private individuals may bid for the building rights.
