Árbæjarlaug will close on Friday, December 20, for maintenance. Vesturbæjarlaug has modified hours due to sauna demolition. Regular hours apply at other times. Staff and visitors are in a festive mood.

The first phase of ceiling maintenance in Árbæjarlaug locker rooms recently began. Plans to start demolition in the men's locker room and section it off for continued use proved impossible with guests present. The pool must close during this work. This closure lasts only one day. The pool reopens Saturday morning, December 21.
