Center for Outdoor Activities and Learning

The Center for Outdoor Activities and Learning (MÚÚ) is a central knowledge hub for outdoor activities and learning in Reykjavík's school and recreational activities.

Purpose

• Enhance SFS staff knowledge in outdoor learning and activities.
• Promote outdoor learning and activities in children's daily routines
• Simplify implementation of outdoor learning and activities
• Manage SFS central projects related to outdoor activities and learning

Objective

• Ensure staff interest and knowledge in using outdoor activities and learning in school and recreational activities.
• Make outdoor learning and activities desirable tools for teachers and instructors.
• Provide children and adolescents with diverse and rich outdoor learning experiences.
• Ensure good conditions for outdoor activities and learning in schools and recreational activities.
