Open every day at from 10am to 5pm
Open until 10pm on the last Thursday of each month.

Easter

The Reykjavík Art Museum is closed on Easter Sunday, other days are open as usual.

Christmas

Open December 26 1pm–5pm
Closed on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.

Facilities

There are great facilities for children and families in the Stofan (Lounge) on the first floor of Hafnarhús Museum, in the Idea Workshop at Kjarvalsstaðir Museum, and at Augnablik (Moment) in Ásmundarsafn Museum.
