Icelandic Music Experiments

Since 1982, the Icelandic Music Experiments have served as a premier stage for young Icelandic musicians and bands ages 13–25 to showcase their music.

Hitt Húsið Youth Center hosts the Icelandic Music Experiments each spring, where 40 to 50 acts compete across four preliminary evenings for a spot in the finals at Harpa, broadcast on Rás 2 and streamed live on the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (RÚV 2).
